Library Lawn Sale
Saturday April 28, 2012
8am-Noon
Library services are increasingly in demand. This is true across the country, across the county, and in small villages such as Middletown Springs, where the trustees and volunteers continue to expand their efforts to raise the funds needed to support those library services. In March, they served up the deliciously successful Pie-For-Breakfast. On Saturday, April 28, 2012, they will host a Library Lawn Sale; a Rummage Sale of up-cycled trinkets and treasures. Town residents are de-cluttering their own homes to help raise money to make more room at the tiny library.
All proceeds of the sale will go to the library’s newly established Building Fund. This fund holds monies to be used in the maintenance and expansion of the library in its current home, a renovated historic chapel, or in any future location. Library trustees promise great bargains on housewares, tools, toys, and more.
