Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Middletown Springs Public Library is an independent, 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer organization that supports the town’s library. Founded in 2012, the Friends’ executive board meets monthly to plan events and connect with the library staff and trustees.
They hold several independent fundraisers, including the spring plant sale and fall town yard sale. They are also instrumental in helping the library staff & trustees with other fundraisers, programs, and projects.
Since 2015, they have been the stewards of the Patricia McCormack Library Expansion Fund.

We believe the library is a critical entity in the cultural, creative and recreational life of this community. We are committed to the principles of Intellectual Freedom and cherish the egalitarian nature of libraries. Within this spirit we work in concert with the library staff, trustees, and volunteers in support of the sustained health of this vital community resource.
